How to Use When to Apply Airflow and water flow may diminish over time due to mineral deposits. As needed, apply the product to rust stains, lime, calcium, or other mineral deposits during routine maintenance. How to Apply Spray Method: When using a spray bottle, spray the surface to be cleaned. Allow the product to sit for 10-30 seconds. Remove excess product with a soft cloth and rinse with clean water. Soak Method: Mix 1 part Fountain & Aeration Cleaner with nine parts water. Soak equipment for 1-3 minutes, remove from solution, and rinse with clean water. Repeat if necessary.
