Description EDSS Steward Laminitis Clogs. EDSS Steward Laminitis Clogs are the most versatile and helpful tool for treating and rehabilitating laminitic horses. Originally designed by Dr Mike Steward in wood, these have now been re-made in durable urethane. They can be applied in various ways either by being nailed, screwed, glued or casted directly with Equicast onto the foot. It in combination with the TFP Ltd EDSS Impression material providing a revolutionized method of laminitis hoof care. EDSS/TFP Impression Material The EDSS Clog can be used for the treatment of many equine lameness problems. Laminitis, founder, rotation, sinking, ring bone, pastern or coffin joint arthritis, coffin joint disease, collateral and ligament strain. Helped by the leverage reduction gained from their optimal design this has proved a key part of the treatment of arthritic conditions of the lower equine limb too.
